Me? It's a bittersweet time... I'll miss Volcano, but I'm excited to have some time with Monkey. I can't believe he's starting kindergarten! It just reminds me how fast they grow up and that he's not my baby anymore!
We homeschool. So school means a LOT of work for ME. But structure seems better than the alternative - bored idleness.....
That is the kids' bored idleness. Me - there's no such thing as bored. Please! I would LOVE to be bored.
Homeschool over here too, but the kids do go to one day a week schooling outside the house. No peace and quiet though. Between the baby and the work for our business, I wish I could sneak in a nap for myself.
My "little ones" are 22 (starting law school) and 18 (starting college) so we have an empty nest. We're so happy that they are settled and happy but it's different here at home. Definitely bittersweet.
