"The place of the father in the modern suburban family is a very small one, particularly if he plays golf."

-- Bertrand Russel

(Dedicated to my wonderful Hubby and his renewed interest in golf.)

Welcome to the Golfer's Widows Club: a club for those of us left for hours at a time alone with the children so our husbands can go golfing. I am a founding member.

I started playing golf around 7 years ago, and then stopped 6 years ago when I discovered video games.

In particular, golfing video games. I wasn't loosing as much money on tee fee's and gambling.

Can Sports Widows in General join, too, Heather?? The Dude loves to watch sports 24/7. And when he's not watching it, he's playing it.

Any Sports Widows are welcome. The more the merrier. :)
